Happy 4th of July!

Fourth of July is the perfect holiday to lay out and bake in the sun rather than baking cakes. I love spending the holiday with family and friends grilling and swimming. This fourth I decided to make a twist on an american classic.. banana pudding. My family loves fresh fruit and just to make it a little bit patriotic and cute I added blueberries and strawberries. Give it a try and tell me how yours turns out!

You’ll need a few things:

2 Bananas: Depending on how much you’ll need to make you can add more
Vanilla Wafers: I just got a generic brand and they worked and tasted equally as good so feel free to grab any brand you’d like
Blueberries and Strawberries- sliced
1 Can of sweetened condensed milk
1 Box of Instant vanilla pudding
1 Tub of Cool whip or any generic brand
A cute clear bowl
and not pictured because I forgot lol.. 1 and 1/2 ice cold water

Start by beating the condensed milk on low while slowly streaming in the ice cold water. After that you’ll need to add the whole packet of pudding and set the whole thing in the fridge for a few hours in order for the pudding to set.

Once the pudding is set mix in the whole tub of cool whip and fold it in until it is completely unison

Once the pudding/cool whip mixture is all mixed in you can start setting up your bowl and lining it with vanilla wafers followed by banana slices and then pudding

Alternate with blueberries and I like to line the sides with the strawberry slices so feel free to go in any order you would like

Finish it off with the remainder of the pudding and garnish the top with any leftover fruit. I decided to make mine look like a cute little American flag. This dessert is perfect for a hot day when you don’t want to turn on your oven. It’s so good and so quick and easy to make. Bring it to a BBQ or make it for your loved ones birthday, I promise everyone will love it! Enjoy your holiday and let me know if you give my recipe a try!
