Pizza Crust Recipe

I hope you’re all keeping busy and staying sane. With all of us being at home, we should all use this time to bake, read or do fun indoor activities. I’ve been trying to keep myself busy and give myself a routine so that I don’t go crazy being inside for so long lol. I feel very out of wack but am slowly trying to adjust to our current normal. This week I wanted to show you the recipe I use to make homemade pizza crust.

Ingredients:
4 cups of bread flour
1 packet of instant dry yeast
2 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon of sugar
1&1/2 cups warm water
2 teaspoons of olive oil

Directions:

In the bowl of your stand mixer mix together your bread flour, yeast, sugar and salt and combine. Now using your hook attachment mix in your water and oil and start your mixer until a ball forms. **feel free to add more flour if it still seems too wet or add more water if the dough seems too dry. Make sure you add a tablespoon at a time.**

Once your dough forms, flour your countertop and knead the dough for five minutes or until your form a smooth firm ball.
Take some extra olive oil (1-2 tablespoons) and coat your bowl and then put your dough inside and make sure you cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and put the bowl in a warm area. Let your dough sit for about an hour or until it doubles in size.

Once your dough has risen take it out and you’re ready to go and make your own pizza. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy fresh from the oven!

Hope this gives you guys something fun to do while stuck at home. I didn’t get a good picture of my pizza cooked (face palm) but enjoy some photos of the process.

Enjoy!
