Weekend Recap: Marie Kondo Folding, No-Knead Bread + Cake Balls

Happy Tuesday! I hope you are all doing well, despite these crazy times. This past weekend was the first time where I was not going anywhere so I decided to make a little to do list while I was at work just to help keep myself organized. Below is a little bit of the list that I had made.

Unfortunately, I was not able to cross everything off of my list, but at least 90% of it got done. Also, if anyone has a mattress topper, please send recommendations my way because I am struggling to find one or its from my indecisiveness getting in my way.

Friday evening I started the mixture for my no-knead bread. I used this recipe since I only had active dry yeast and most of the recipes I saw were for instant yeast. I let it rest about 16 hours before I baked it. The only issue I found is 1, my bread looked ugly and 2, it wasn’t crusty at the top so I’m not sure what I did wrong. I will say though that it was delicious and was used all weekend, including today, for garlic bread. I think next I will make french baguette.

Saturday afternoon I started cleaning off my dresser and going through my drawers. I tried to get rid of clothes that I haven’t worn in months and just really tried to be minimal.

Saturday evening, my sister and I started on the cake balls and we used this recipe. Let’s just say, I don’t know when I’ll be making these again haha They were delicious, but I don’t think I’m a huge fan of candy melts. We also ended up running out of candy melts in the middle of it all and we were over it at that point.

Sunday night, my sister and I decided to have a little movie night and made C decide on which movie to watch out of our three choices. Our picks were Selena, Spice World, and Step Up. The winner was Selena, but we ended up watching Step Up as well. We might end up making it a weekly thing for right now because lets be honest, there isn’t much to do.

What are some of your favorite movies?
