For today’s post I thought I would share what my morning routine looks like during the week. I know everyone’s morning routine is looking a bit different these days.
6:30 am: Alarm goes off. I like to use my fitbit as an alarm since it vibrates my wrist, which is just more pleasant to wake up to
6:33 am: Eventually making my downstairs after trying to wake Knox up
6:35 am: I spray Knox with some tick repellent and then we are finally out of the door

6:45 am: Back inside and take off his leash and harness
6:51 am: Making our way back upstairs after I get his food together, take my probiotics, and drink some water

6:52 am: Brush my teeth, clean my face with witch hazel, use my eyelid scrub because somehow I ended up with blepharitis 3x this year, and fix my hair
7:04 am: I make my bed and do a bit a stretching just to help with my upper back pain
7:06 am – 7:19 am: Playing with Knox/ Lounging and watching tv
7:20 am: Start getting ready for work
7:26 am: I’m downstairs filling up my Hyrdoflask and usually grab or figure out my lunch for work. Sometimes I’ll grab a granola bar or fruit on my way out for breakfast
(I need to get better at not lounging in the morning and actually making myself breakfast. One day… one day)
7:36 am: This is typically when I’m out the door
7:54 am: Arrive at work
8:00 am: I start making my to do list for the day and do a quick scroll through social media
Some ways that can help with your morning routine is…
- Don’t grab your phone first thing in the morning
- Journaling
- Stretch/exercise
- Tidying your room
- Create a to-do list for the day
- Listen to a podcast or music as you’re getting ready
- Drink a glass of water
- Make/ eat breakfast
- Breathing exercises
