Desk Makeover for Remote Learning

This school year will definitely be different than all the years prior. Whether you’re in K-12 or in college, it will be an adjustment for all of us. With my semester in full effect now, I had to make a few changes to make my desk remote learning friendly. My lectures are 5 hours long so I had to make sure that my desk was a place where I could stay organized, comfortable and really learn. Prior to all of this my desk was mainly acting as a vanity with a few moments of me clearing it off to study lol. But since a lot of my time will be spent sitting at my desk I decided to change it up a bit.

Here is my before and after..

Had to hide a few little things with some hearts lol..

There was major changes to transform my desk from beauty based to education based lol.

A few things I purchased:
Shelving: Amazon
Gold magazine file: Walmart– I couldn’t find the exact one but I’ve linked one of a different color
Gold basket organizer: Walmart
Fan: Amazon
Fairy lights: Amazon
Grid wall organizer: Target
Laptop Case: Amazon

Overall I am obsessed with my new space. It’s cute and keeps me organized for class. The little positive memos were just off google and cut onto cardstock and then cut and clipped up onto my grid organizer. When I’m feeling stressed they are cute little reminders that there is a bigger picture for my future. Keeps me focused and determined to keep going.

This was one of the best things I decided to do and I must say that I’m kicking remote learnings ass lol!Hopefully it encourages you to transform you or your kids space.
