Mulled Wine Recipe

With the holiday season in full effect, I thought I would bring you guys my mulled wine recipe! If you’ve never had a mulled wine you are seriously missing out! It is the perfect drink to cozy up with by the tree and is perfect for any night in. It’s so easy to make and tastes like Christmas!

For starters you want to put your wine in a pot and add all of your spices and orange slices over medium to low heat. I didn’t have any star anise on hand so I used anise seeds and it came out just as good but not as cute lol. Something about the little stars makes it look 10x cuter.

You want this to heat up to barely a simmer because you don’t want your wine to start boiling away all the alcohol. So keep an eye on it and give it a stir to make sure everything is getting simmered.

Once that’s ready, let that sit for 2-3 minutes to make sure all those spices get incorporated into the taste and then make sure you have a strainer to strain your wine. Once it’s all strained you’re all set to pour it into your favorite glasses and garnish with an orange slice on the glass. I always love tossing in some fresh orange slices into my glass so feel free to do so as well!

Heres the recipe, feel free to share it on instagram!

Give the recipe a try and let me know if you enjoyed it! It’s perfect for an indoor holiday season.

Cheers!
