Arianna’s 2021 Vision Board

For this year, I decided to make a vision board of things that I plan to look forward to. I didn’t want to make a list like what I did for last year since things just didn’t go quite as planned.

  • Grow savings: This year I want to be more mindful of what I’m buying so I can really save for my future. It will be a mix of trying to put a dent in my loans, while also trying to grow my savings at the same time. I also want to get into investing if possible
  • Cook more at home: I enjoy cooking when I’m not forced to do it, so I would love to try cooking more at home for health reasons, and because it’s more cost effective. My plan is to find some new recipes to try out and to also incorporate more vegetables into my meals
  • Canada: I’m really hoping the borders open back up in the next few months. Canada just holds a special place in my heart and I want to visit more of that fresh aired country. Vancouver is on my list of the next area to visit, and going back to Banff would be a dream
  • Take Knox on more adventurers: Knox loves car rides so I want him to experience more of what is out there. He gets anxiety from new places so I’m hoping that the more he goes out, the more comfortable he’ll be. I want to get him into hiking since he thrives being outside and running
  • Volunteer/Donate: Every year I usually donate canned goods for Thanksgiving and then also choose two kids from the angel tree and then just buy them everything that they need for the holidays. With everything that went on, I didn’t see either one advertised at any of the places that I went to so then I tried to think of what else I can do for donation wise. I don’t know why I never thought about buying things for an animal shelter so last year my sister and I went all out and bought a bunch of items that they needed. I know everywhere is struggling right now so it just felt great to buy some necessities that that particular shelter needed. I would love to try and find somewhere to volunteer and also probably choose two places to donate to, for either 1x in the Spring/Summer, and then again around the holidays
  • Yoga: I keep trying to get into working out, but it’s still a struggle. I have moments where I can go weeks on end of working out, and then I fall off and want nothing to do with it. I thought yoga would help me to be more flexible, gain muscle strength, and to mainly help with my back pain
  • Go on day trips: If things are still somewhat shut down by the time the warmer weather starts back up, I would love to do more day trips. Traveling is just good for the soul, and I would love to explore some other areas of the east coast that I haven’t been able to see
  • Break out camera more: This year I really want to break out the camera more. I used to really love photography and I want to find my passion for it again. I think doing things outside more will help me get back into it
