Valentine’s Day is just a few short days away…. are you prepared? This year, I’m sure many will be staying home, and having a much more laid back Valentine’s Day. Staying inside can be much more affordable and there’s nothing worse than having to fight crowds. Below I’ve listed a few ideas with help with your Valentine’s Day.
One :: Fondue For Two
All you need is a a fondue pot and pick out some of your favorite chocolates or cheeses to melt. There’s nothing more romantic than a fondue date for two. They can be best paired with crackers, fruit, cookies, and last but not least.. vegetables (if you’re into that)
Two :: Spa Night
What could be better than getting pampered? To set the mood, light some candles, get some facial masks (even ones for your feet), and heated massage oil. You can give each other foot massages, then move on to the rest of the body
Three :: Plan Out A Bucket List
Just because you’re home, doesn’t mean you can’t plan out some bucket list ideas that you can do together as a couple for now or the future. It can be certain milestones, trips/vacations, and anything in general that is just focused on you and your significant other
Four :: Cook A New Meal
When was the last time you had the time to cook a new meal with each other. Find a recipe that interests you both, go grocery shopping together, and then cook the meal.. Since restaurants are a thing of the past in some places, break out the candles and have a candlelit dinner with that new meal you both just whipped up
Five :: Movie Night
Buy each of your favorite types of candy, some appetizers, and have yourselves a little movie night. Deck out a certain area of your place with candles, some comfy throw blankets and pillows and just cuddle up in front of the television or screen. I mean, what could be better than cuddling up in front of a movie with your love. You could even do a Netflix and chill!
Six :: Have a Themed Night
Have a themed night based on the type of food you and your special someone like. For example, if you both love Italian food, have a playlist with Italian music, either make or buy the food, buy wine, and look up some inexpensive ideas for decorations
